A Total Stand-in

This glass is kind of funny because we snapped it purely for the picture. The actual evening was followed by red wine and late night walks in the rain.

Better Late Than Never

This glass was taken as a result of dinner plans that got postponed well into the evening. A reminder that sometimes the journey isn't what we anticipate, but it is well worth continuing to see the destination.

Not Picky About The Cup

Enjoyed a nice and relaxing evening with a friend I haven't seen in a couple of weeks. Moments like this is what makes life worth living :)

Revitalizing Water

I had a rough couple of moments this weekend. I had some anxieties and fears that I just couldn't shake. A nice relaxing drink with a friend helped change my perspective.

A Relaxing Weekend

I had a nice long lunch with my uncle. He was even the one to remind me about taking a picture :)

Soak In The Sun

I don't get enough pictures of water outside. This one will always make me think about a walk in the park with the kids while listening to a story about totem poles!

Rewind Water

I think it's still too early for a rewind series still. This, however, ended up being at the exact restaurant and story that started it all. It was a fun lunch break :)

Super Water

I realize that I haven't posted in a few days. The body just can't keep up with the mind sometime! This one was taken after you watching Man of Steel!

Forbidden Water

Looking at this now, I think the most appealing thing about this glass is the way the light reflects off all the ice.  The purple color gives it a nice effect as well. This could totally pass for Jello.

Pretty In Pink

When I first saw this glass, I thought it was really pretty. It wasn't until I saw the picture that it actually brought tears to my eyes. The person who prepared this glass for me picked the ultimate way to completely capture my heart.

Overflowing With Love

Although this image is that of a Pyrex glass, this is probably one of the deeper images that I've taken. I was hanging with my closest friends this night. Each ice cube represents someone who became a part of that night (even someone who couldn't physically join us). The overflow is how these people make me feel :)

Side Note: I can't bring myself to take a picture of the same glass twice. This is why I had to use the Pyrex.

Yummy Yummy

Enjoyed the mid-day with my grandparents. Memere always has something decent baked up! That's a huge German chocolate cake sitting in the background :)

Water Dance

I spent most of my evening with my lovely friends Angele and her husband Guillaume. We had some wine, good discussion, followed by a bit of dancing. I know it's just a glass of water but now there's an amazing memory associated to it!

Pole Vaulting in a Glass

Enjoying some chinese buffet last night when I snapped a photo of this bad boy. The straw looks huge!

Low Balling It With the Ladies

Some people who know me, know that I have a thing for low ball glasses. I like the girliness of all the items in the background.

Grooming Water

A glass of water during a grooming session this morning. This glass definitely only got 1 point of effort to drink :) (lame Agile joke)

Jabba Water

I took this picture specifically for a friend. There is significance to me in the single ice cube. She notes that there is a likeness to Jabba the Hutt if you flip the image upside down. I agree!

Sushi Water

I realize that this is not a glass but it's water nonetheless. I actually just liked the way the water rests calmly in its container.

A Well Deserved Glass

This was taken shortly after I spent a grueling 4 hours outside pulling weeds in my yards. I was covered in dirt, sweat, and mosquito bites.

Working Water

The first thing I do at work in the morning is head to the kitchen and get myself a glass of water! This one appears to distort reality.

A Glass And Some Classic Food

This was taken while sitting with good company and enjoying an amazing home cooked meal! I love how the glass looks like it bends inwards.

A Glass At Brunch

I loved turning the glass and trying to understand how my mind processed the refraction of light when you look at the straw.

The Enchanting First Glass

This is it! This is the first glass of water to inspire everything. I stared into the glass and saw the most perfectly cubed ice cubes I have ever seen in my life. I soon became amazed at the properties of the compound the sat within the glass. Water is the only non-metal substance on earth that has a lower density in it's solid form than it's liquid form. In it's frozen state, it harnesses less energy than when it's liquid form. It blows my mind to watch the ice melt and see the ice disappear because it's a true visual transformation of a substance due to energy!
